A Natter With Invisible Folk Club

In the summer we spent an afternoon with the Invisible Folk Club playing some traditional songs and having a chat (and drinking a lot of tea) for their podcast. Thanks for having us on your show, guys! It’s available to listen to now on iTunes or Spotify.

Here’s what Steve and Jon from Invisible Folk said about this episode:
“Great new podcast released today featuring MarisaJack&Davy, the finest folk group in Bedfordshire. Please share with your friends and networks.

Marisa, Jack & Davy breathe life into lesser known traditional folk songs. They all sing, play guitar and percussion. Their 3 part harmonies and arrangements are inventive and original.
They also run occasional acoustic folk nights and promote concerts in and around Bedford under the name Mill Race Folk. They look for venues that reflect the history and aesthetics of the local area and have featured such artists as Martin Carthy, John Kirkpatrick, Anna & Elizabeth, Stick in the Wheel.”
