Inside the Basement at Bunyan, Mill Street, Bedford

This newly re-furbished basement has beautifully rendered brickwork, newly glazed windows and big doorways that opens up into the ‘Castle Quarter’. This area of Bedford is an important part of the town with with historic associations, museums, art galleries, specialist bookshops and riverside restaurants.

The Basement at Bunyan is linked to the John Bunyan Museum and has two craft-rooms, a flexible exhibition and meeting space, a quiet room and refreshment area. The council have approved our temporary events licence, so we’ll be able to sell you some bottled beers or a glass of wine too!

The first Mill Race Folk Social ft MarisaJack&Davy is at Basement at Bunyan on Saturday 3rd June, right in the heart of Bedford. It is such a lovely new art space for the community and is fully accessible. Do you know any folk songs? Get in touch to book a floor spot! Tickets are only £5 or just £3 if you play on the night.
